ETA: Well, it was bound to happen. My friend Carol and I have very similar cards for the challenge. I started not to post mine, but what the heck. Carol, I swear I didn't see your card before making mine. I guess great minds really do think alike ...A fabulous challenge this week from Jennifer Styles: to create a one layer musically themed card. I started with a totally different card in mind, but couldn't make it work. So I went a totally different direction, and I'm very happy with the outcome. In fact, I already made two more cards while I had everything out. Sometimes I just make things too difficult . . . and that's not just in card making lol
The musical score stamp is from Stampendous and the sentiment is from Savvy. I added some black glitter to the treble clef with a Copic Spica pen. The inside sentiment is from Verses. I wish now I had added some little music notes on the inside in red . . . I think I'll go back and do that.Thank you for stopping by today.
