Susan's One-Layer Wednesday challenge this week is to let this picture from Pinterest inspire our creativity. Usually my thoughts evolve as I put ideas to paper, but this week I instantly thought of my PTI Year Of Flowers Collection and the Savvy Outline Dot Background stamp. The challenge for me was making it a one-layer card. I will still cover the sentiment with a popped up message later. In retrospect, I should have found a bolder, larger sentiment for this instead of trying to squeeze one between dots.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs,
Colleen
How cool! Glad you found the time to do the OLW this week! Gorgeous card, as always!
ReplyDeleteAs always you make lovely cards and this is no exception. I do like the flower but I really like those dots. You have used them before and they are really catching. As always your coloring is outstanding.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully colored daffodil! The dot background is a perfect tie-in with the inspiration photo. Love it!
