HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CAROL!!!

Today I want to wish my girlfriend, Carol, a very happy birthday!! Have a great day, sweetie! I'm so-o-o looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks. 
Because Carol is such a talented card maker, it is a challenge for me to create a "Carol worthy" card, but this is what I came up with. The gingham background and leaf branch (stamped twice) stamps are from Impression Obsession. I hand cut the banner and mat to accommodate the image.

    Carol should love this card, Colleen! It's beautiful! I love the classic looks of the gingham and the pretty leaves! Because you made it, it will be extra special to her.

    Colleen - this is an elegant and classy card and I'm certain that Carol will love it. The banner is a fabulous focal point and a great way to display the image. Love the earthy tones of the gingham and the embellishments - perfect combination with the green.

    Thank you dear friend! LOVE my card! AND, I'm so glad you posted...I was wondering where you got the gingham background....I got that for you, no??? And, I got one too! Same for the leaf???? Me thinks this birthday thing is doing something with the ol' memory...YIKES! My visit is just around the corner....can't wait!
