Congrats, Britt!!!

My niece, Brittany, recently graduated from college, and this is the card I made for her. Isn't this owl just the cutest stinkin' thing?! It's from QuicKutz, as is the cap and I plan to use this fellow a lot more. I wish I had taken a picture of the pull-out card. I used SU!'s slit punch to create a place holder for a check that I tucked on the underside of the sentiment. The library card is one I had from wa-ay back. It's from Bazzill and survived my recent craft room purge/housecleaning. Congrats again, Britt! We're all so proud of you!

Thank you stopping by today.

So Glad We're Friends

A quick post - I'm trying to be more attentive to my blog, but life gets in the way sometime. I made a card similar to this for a friend and, while everything was out, decided to make a second. The flourishes are from Hero Arts, the sentiment and dies PTI.

OLW9 A Little Note

I finally got around to putting thoughts to paper for Simplicity's One Layer Wednesday challenge. I've made some cards similar to this but don't think I've posted them. The flourish is from Memory Box and the sentiment from A Muse. I had a hard time deciding whether to round the corners, so made one of each.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoy.

Wishing You Well

As you will notice, I've done a little housecleaning on my blog. I really prefer just a simple design where the cards are the focal point and think this fits the bill. I'd prefer my banner extend the width of the blog, but I don't know how to fix that and decided to stop while I was ahead. Please let me know if there are any problems. I'm always hesitant to "fix" what's not "broken" since I usually end up breaking it.

Now for a quick post just to keep up with my partner in crime, Carol. I can't let her get too many posts ahead of me lol

The flower and rickrack borders are from PaperTrey Ink - stamp and dies. The sentiment and background are Hero Arts.

Thank you for stopping by.

Another CAS Card

I needed another pregnancy congrats card so pulled out an old SU set and paired it with a new Basic Grey small clear sentiment. Quick and easy.

Thank you for stopping by today.
