Quick Card, Quick Post

Today got away from me, but I wanted to pop in real quick to share my one of my latest creations. The chevron background is from Impression Obsession, stamped using white ink on crumb cake card stock. The flower is a stamp with a coordinating punch from Stampin' UP! and my all time favorite SU! item. It is stamped in Poppy Parade and the seam binding was colored to match with a Copic. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and the scallop border was created by using a heart border punch and turning it upside down, resulting in  the mini scallop look.

Thank you for stopping by.

Hugs.

  1. Beautiful. I really love that zig zag background. Totally looks like some cool patterned paper-I have to find that stamp. Great idea to color the seam binding with a copic!

  3. Hi, Love the chevron background. Honestly I didn't think I would like it but it is great. Maybe I will need to have that. Great card. Simple but so much fun. I really enjoyed seeing you while in Florida. You look great. You never change. Safe trip back up north.

  4. How pretty, Colleen! I'm seeing chevrons everywhere. And I like them. I have the flower stamp and punch and need to get busy on it.

  5. I like the colors you've used here, Colleen. Chevrons seem to be really popular right now and I can see why. It makes a great background. Ann Y.
