Cheers!



Getting back in the groove here. DH and I spent some time with family at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia last week. It's just beautiful . . . I just love a view with mountains and water!

Anyway, here are a couple of cards I made with my aunt in mind. The first card using blue and red is my favorite of the two. I like the grungy look of it . . . seems to suit the image better, don't you think? Inside it says "Here's to another year down the can!" The dresses, flowers, flower pot and plunger head are paper pieced and popped up, but that doesn't show up very well in the pictures.

  1. These are such fun cards! I really like the angled mat and ribbon. A nice change of pace! Yes, I like the blue/red one too...everything just pops on it. And, yes, I'm baaaaaaaaaack! Can't wait to talk!
