Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #119 - Flagged Borders
Ok... I think this is my first ever Papertrey Ink MIM entry. Hard to believe with all the wonderfully inspiring videos that the design team and Nichole have produced for us that it would take me so long. I get easily sidetracked, what can I say...
All products, with the exception of the Hero Arts red metallic dots, are from Papertrey Ink.
Thank you for stopping by.
Hugs,
Colleen
Hi I just sent you an email! Your card is just beautiful! I love the papers with polka dots and stripes . You look too young to be a grandmother of 9 , I do have you beat by a few :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous card. Great colors and using the cutout or stickers of "birthday" is brilliant. So glad you made the plunge into posting. Keep it coming.
ReplyDeleteHi Colleen, thank you so much for visiting me. I love your card, those banners are fantastic and I think it is great that you played along with Make it Monday. Grandmother of 9 is impressive! My youngest, 16 in July, is the 14th grandchild for my parents and they also have 8 great grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you used the birthday stickers along with a stamped "wishes". Great idea for those times when I run out of stickers. Thank you! :)

Great card. I like how you have put part of the sentiment on one of the flags. That was a great idea. PS--you might want to turn off word verification and just do comment modification. You'll probably get more comments that way, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog and taking time to comment. I appreciate the suggestion to turn off word verification...I didn't know it was on.
